I ordered extras to open of Barin, Vultan, and Ming. Gonna wait to get extras of Flash and Aura, because my order was getting a bit expensive.

BBTS will carry other sites' exclusives many times. They must strike deals with sutes like EE and AFX.

I like the Ming figure so I weakened and ordered one. Ming is no good without Flash Gordon so I had to get him as well. That's enough for me. If EE wasn't selling them individually I wouldn't have bothered. These figures all look good I'm just not really a fan of the movie.

I'll be curious how the final figures look. Those hinges are pretty unsightly.

My feeling is they were going for a hybrid of GI Joe and Kenner 3 3/4" articulation.

I'm more of a fan of the classic comic strip. I wonder if theres any chance of a classic version being made in scale and style. I still might order Ming and Flash though.

I'd be all over Alex Raymond style figures in this scale! My affection for the original comic strip and the movie serials helped to influence my decesion to buy the Ming and Flash figures.
