New Transformers Megatron!

The new Transformers Combiner Wars G1 Megatron has to be the greatest version ever made.
I don't know how they pulled it off, but they made his robot form look just like the G1 gun version even though he transforms into a tank and not a gun.

That's been a problem with Megatron for years. There's all kinds of import restrictions and parental/corporate backlash because of his gun mode. Hasbro has finally found a way around all that and given fans a pretty much perfect version. The colors and styling just scream 80's cartoon! I will definitely be owning this guy.

^That is slick. Nice homage to the original. The original toy is actually kind of dorky looking, so this looks more like the animated version of that design.

^These are pushing long dusty buttons of mine, in regards to Transformers. I remember the rush to get all the Constructicons so I could build Devasator. I was slightly disappointed that a tiny breeze would bust him apart, but still, it was a great concept. This looks like what the toy should have been in my mind back then.

These both, are amazing. I saw Megatron at TRU today, he looks great in both modes. Some real ingenuity there.

I'd love to own that Devastator. A similarly updated Predaking would be outstanding.
