Statues sculpted to look like articulated Kenner action figures confuses me and actually makes me kinda sad. I just don't get it.

Between these and the Gentle Giant Jumbos, there is obviously a huge pent up demand for Kenner Super Powers figures. So why don't they just do the logical thing and just reissue them?

The Jumbos are too big and the statues just make me sad. But I would buy every single reissue of the Kenner line.

I think the statue idea is brilliant...they're close enough to the originals yet different enough to feel fresh and new, and at only $29.99 they're a great value.

Straight up reissues aren't going to happen. If the Kenner internal power-action mechanism designs and original molds even still exist, they belong to Hasbro now. Hasbro could however produce MARVEL super power style figures, and they would FLY off the shelves.

Those look really nice! My second favorite toy line of all time. But with Superfriends coming from FTC I think my disposable income is sewn up.
