I have passed on NECA DC 1/4 figures, but Christopher Reeve has my attention!
I am waiting to see what FTC does with its 18" DC and Batman TV figures, before I buy NECA West and Ward, but I do not know if FTC will acquire Superman movies!
WHY did NECA do Batman Returns Penguin 1/4 scale?! WORST Penguin EVER! Why not Nicholson Joker or Pfiefer Catwoman? I'd buy them!
I want NECA 1/4 Lynda Carter Wonder Woman! Newmar or Hathaway Catwoman! BOTH! Yvonne Craig Batgirl! We need FEMALES, too!Comment

The DC Direct bust had weird, puffed-up hair like this as well. Hmmm.
If they fix the hair, I may have to get this. If not, it throws off the look enough for me to pass.

That photo is bad. Who thinks of the Chris Reeve Superman trying to look all bad-arse? How many times did he say he portrayed Superman as "a friend". Are they trying to hide that funky poofed up hair?

i think part of the problem is the pose and i think having the ironman ,cavil supes and west bats from neca 1/4 scale figures that by eliminating the articulation in the upper body that its hard to find a natural point of balance where these figures can stand and look natural
and above all the reeve supes needs that natural unforced pose and "attitude " thats part of his charm and presence with out it just looks off
i was hoping they had the articulation but had hid it behind a rubber shirt skin similar to the keaton bats ,but looking at it i dont think they have
this figure ,other than the boots doesn't look as articulated as the mattel 3 and 1/4 inch reeve figure

Interesting, might just be the tilt of the head making the hair look extra poofy. Would like to see the other hands and him in a different (obviously limited) pose.
