Official Doctor Who Lego Set Coming

I think this is cool, but I'll also admit to being a big fan of the Character Building sets. I'm honestly sad to see those go.

It was my understanding the Lego Cuusoo project happened because the CB sets had ended, not the other way around, but I may be misinformed. Anyway, this one-off Lego DW set looks very cool, I'm glad to see it's happening. Hopefully they'll stick close to the prototype. I'd prefer Four and Ten to a BBC mandated Capaldi and Clara set, tbh.

Wow! If you had told me back in the day that I'd one day be able to get a Tom Baker and TARDIS official lego set, I wouldn't have believed it. amazing how mainstream Doctor Who has become.

Has Character Options/Underground toy stopped with the license for this scale? Or is the Lego thing just a one-off that somehow temporarily grants the license? As much as I love Lego, I do like the CO minifigures, especially the little Daleks.

I tried looking around the net for news on the Character Building license and found nothing conclusive. For my money they are the best of the Lego knockoff brands.

I just got a price list for 2015 from Underground/CO and the building sets are not on it.
