my fave suggestions so far:
Mego doing SW and SMDM
FTC getting the Marvel license
FTC '66 1:9 scale (accurate!) batmobile
Howabout Mego doing X Men and more villains (Luthor, Brainiac, Magneto, Red Skull, Doom, Loki)
also a Hammond Spidey sounds like a great idea for a custom!

A remego Marlon Brando would be cool. The Godfather and Wild ones with a brmc jacket. Elvis and Santa megos haven't been done yet either. Clint Eastwood from the good the bad and the ugly.Leave a comment:

Also, I'd love for hot toys or sideshow to do screen accurate reproductions of all the Rankin Bass characters. Actually why stop there, a full series of classic stop motion figures like King Kong, Harryhausen Cyclops, etc.Leave a comment:

I think first I would make a much wide range of toys for the shelves like the 80's and 90's I know there was some awful stuff out there but there was a lot of good stuff too.
Secondly I would make toys become more reasonable again I mean over £10 for a 4 inch figure and over £20 for a 6 inch one is highway robbery never mind moaning about bankers get the toy makers.
Third thing would to make toys aimed for kids again not at collectors surely as toy collectors you we want toys not collectable figures that look good but aren't like the stuff you grew up with?
Lastly I would make a bunch of 3 3/4 inch figures and vehicles including
A decent line of the original BSG
Wild Wild West
Alias Smith and Jones
Legend of the golden gun
Lone Ranger
Automan
Street Hawk
Bring Em Back alive
Tales of the golden monkey
Logans Run
Fantastic voyage
A load of characters from the Ray Harryhausen movies
Knight Rider
Last Star Fighter
Man From Atlantis
Blue Thunder
Spaced Invaders
There are so many more but a day isn't long.Leave a comment:

I'd make Hasbro bring back M.A.S.K. Why they haven't outside of the Matt Trakker 3 3/4" G.I. Joe figure is beyond me.Leave a comment:

This question is so hard to answer as there are so many possibilities that would be just awesome... many of which have already been mentioned in this thread.
No "Mego style" stuff. I love my WGSH and have a special place in my heart for other Mego licenses too, but I've found that outside of certain DC/Marvel, I lean more towards the "no soft goods" action figure way of thought. (Although a Wave 2 of Remco's McDonaldland figures wouldn't be too bad---tip of the hat to Huckleberry Toys for giving that somewhat of a go)
In an attempt to pinpoint what would really make me thrilled, I'm sure I'd have to lean towards properties that excited me at the earliest age---pre-Kenner Star Wars at least, for sure. (although, the day a Princess Bride line is announced, I'll be readying my wallet)
Highest priority would be Sesame Street product, and I don't think I'd have to go much further than just putting into action the line that never got produced by Palisades. The pictures for the initial figures and play set were amazing---then again, after their incredible Muppet output, I wouldn't've expected anything less.
A "Classic Filmation" line featuring as many DC heroes and villains as possible would KILL! At first, more Silver Age superhero figures in the marketplace (and on my shelf) "seems" redundant. But if the line was very loyal to the original group of shows characters, with top quality sculpts, colors and accessories---the nostalgia would thrill me to no end.
I suppose a Krofft Supershow action figure line would be exciting too---but, I was very specific about which characters I enjoyed watching... the line would definitely need a Dr. Shrinker (a rare character, I know) to hook me. Shrinker was "my" show out of all the stuff they produced back then. Other characters would include primary Sigmund, LOTL and Puff N Stuff figures.
To wrap this tough thing up---I DID love certain star Wars era shows---make certain lines of 'em ALL for good measure. The Funko ReAction style will suffice... but there better be at least 8 characters in each line before it ends. (Dukes Of Hazzard, A-Team, Incredible Hulk, Greatest American Hero come to mind as favorite shoes to be focused on in this ReAction style))Leave a comment:

Some good points.
I'd ask ZICA to do all the figures. Man, I miss their Buck Rogers figures....
And indeed, a Ray Harryhausen collection would be awesome!Leave a comment:

I'd be purchasing a set of these as well I'd love to see logans run (TV series) in 3 3/4 inch as well I just wish Funko would do vehicles to go with some of those lines that would be really retro for that scaleLeave a comment:

Golden Voyage of Sinbad,
Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger,
"V" the invasion 1984s toy line
The Valley of the Gwangi

I'd get Zica to do 8" figures of Superman The Movie and all the current Marvel movies.
I might have to take a stab at this myself now that I think about it, but I'd get a kick out of seeing Funko RetroAction Law and Order (and Criminal Intent) figures. Or maybe a Curb Your Enthusiasm Larry David.
I'd be the only one buying this, but I'd love a pull-string talking Frank Nelson doll. YEE-EHSSSS.
