The Amazing Heroes Wave 1 kickstarter was funded successfully, and now Fresh Monkey is back with Wave 1.5! Not only can you pick up Wave 1 if you missed them the first time around, now you can add Champion of Mars (John Carter), Silver Streak and even Mike Allred's Madman to your collection - and this time they're all on new retro card backs!



You can even choose between classic 1940s art or all-new artist editions featuring these classic characters drawn by artists such as Erik Larsen, Tim Seeley, Allred and more! For those who can't decide which they prefer (like me), there are add-ons that allow you to pick up both and interchange them to you heart's desire.



Also back is the easily customizable Villainous Blank Slate figure!




With characters like Madman in the mix, who knows what the future will bring for these Secret Wars-style action figures...

I received the Green Turtle, very nicely done. He has the proper skin tone and clean paint apps, these are simple but not cheap-looking figures. My only "gripe" is that his cape has no emblem, but that fits the aesthetic of the Amazing Heroes line. Good collector-friendly packaging, too.
