I was feeling a little down in the dumps so I went to TRU the other day to look for the new Star Wars Rebels vehicles. I didn't find those and at first I couldn't even find the SW toys. I was thinking "Oh, great TRU doesn't even carry SW anymore." Fortunately, it turns out SW is getting a brand new larger section by the video games. Yay! But they didn't have any of the new Rebels toys other than the role play and jumbo figures, awww.
But it was okay because I did find the new Bridge Direct Strawberry Shortcake dolls! I was really impressed with them. Much nicer than what Hasbro was doing. Their faces are sweet and cute and the quality of the hair is amazing. Plus on the way to the check out I spied the new Just Play Care Bears on an end cap. They are SOOOO cute. The fur is super soft and really nice quality. Very classic looking bears too. Love them! I found Cheer Bear, Funshine and Grumpy (who has declined to be photographed so far) in the small size. They also had several different jumbo sized Care Bears. I'm probably gonna go back for one of the jumbo bears this weekend.
