Universal Monsters ReAction..any get the GID?

I got my box in from EE, the Mummy shipped in a second box, really not sure why.

No GID figures and weirdly, I really want them.

These are nice figures, not perfect but I like them better than the majority of the funko 3 3/4" output. The card art is striking and it makes me happy that $10 monster figures like this are out there.

I strangely forgot to order the Bride but she should be no problem to find at comic shops in Toronto.

Here is what Edward H at EE said about the GID variants:

Thank you for your e-mail. The Funko company has decided to start randomly inserting special variant versions for some of their ReAction figures into their regular factory packed boxes. Since these are randomly delivered to us, we cannot guarantee that any client would or would not receive a variant version of their desired piece. Variants are made in significantly less QTY’s than the standard version of the item, so the chances of getting the randomly selected pieces are not great. Some Funko variant items are offered to EE as individual items with their own SKU #'s, and these are listed online as such, but this is not the case for these specific new variants. Sorry that we cannot offer happier news for you.

I don't believe is retail and US only. Just in general with what gets packed in a case and what gets sent to you from online retailers. Luck of the draw..or who you pay off at the packing facility.

I would love it if they did all of them as gitd variants in some capacity, even though it would be a nightmare to get them all....

An entire second series in glow would have been super fun and way cooler than the usual inevitable black white repaints companies usually do of the Monsters. Glow in the Dark equals, awesome, must have!! Black and white equals, meh, easy pass.

This has been a great time for the 3 3/4 inch figures. My Universal Monster set finally came in and it looks great against my Remco Monsters. I already preordered the EE Exclusive Invisible Man.

I received a GITD Mummy from Entertainment Earth. Mixed feelings. The GITD are cool, and I am happy to get one, but at the same time, I prefer the regular version, so now I have to buy another Mummy.

Just got both Mummy and Creech glow and love them. Well done. I agree with the sentiment of wanting the color versions as well. Great sculpts.
