Speaking of protecting your toy collections...does anyone here have their toys insured?...
I don't currently, but before the end of the year when I renew my lease, my management company is requiring that I have renter's insurance. Never done it before, but I'm going to have to now.

Look what happens when you aren't allowed to play with "dolls"...
WANTED: partly-unsealed or bubble-damaged carded Romulan + unbroken plant trap from Mission to Gamma VI
This happened in my toy room, which is shared with books. The crappy particle wood bookshelves I buy from Target and Wal-Mart have mostly bowed from the weight. One of the shelves fell and many of my books fell to ground crushing some of my re-Megos. I've a crushed Dalek from BBP and the clamshells got smashed from a couple of my Venture Bros figures. But, luckily the books I care about the toys themselves survived. I am now building my own shelves.
