I got the Millennium Falcon set today. The sculpts on these are very nice. The likeness of Han Solo is even surprisingly well done. I can see table top RPG gamers and diorama builders collecting and painting these because the sculpts are so good.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Are they the same size as standard army men, or are they a bit larger?

I believe they are the same size. I just compared them to the True Legends Mythic Warriors that TRU sells and they are the same scale as those. I will dig around my stuff and see if I can find an actual army man to compare to. I know I have to have a couple around here somewhere.

[Edit] Okay, I measured them. They are roughly two inches. Some a tiny bit taller or tiny bit shorter. Depending on the character or pose. So they are the same scale as the Tim Mee Army Men and Galaxy Laser Team. But shorter than the three inch Tim Mee Legendary Battle and Cowboy figures.

I got it from amazon. They charged $32.99. Same price as the pre-order at Entertainment Earth. So I imagine it will probably retail a little cheaper. It's a big set. 24 figures and 7 vehicles.

Those SW army style figures are awesome!! if you crossed the 1980's Crossbows and Catapults toy sets/games with plastic army men you would have this. I think this new toy series will do pretty well

I can totally see your son owning armies of these before long.

Took some comparison pictures to show the scale of Star Wars Command vs their Galaxy Laser Team counterparts. As you can see, they are a perfect scale match. Unfortunately my camera flash washed out some of the detail. The sculpts are very nice in person.

For those looking for these, hit your Target stores. Their toy departments have reset and restocked their Star Wars sections. Found the Sandtrooper Strike, Galactic Empire and Imperial Assault sets. They are $4.99 and come with nine figures. Plus the larger Death Star Strike set for $14.99. It comes with ten figures plus four vehicles (two X-Wings, Tie Fighter and Darth Vader's Tie Fighter) and two mini launcher things. No sign of the two Rebels sets in the line. Must have already sold out.

Haven't been able to figure out which set comes with the Yoda figure shown in the commercial. There's also some important and popular missing characters so far in the line. Like, there's no sign of Leia, C-3PO, Lando, Old Ben, Boba Fett or Hera. Luke farm boy and some Jawas would also be nice.

Got a couple packs last night at Target. They are GREAT. But there is one huge flaw with the way they're rolling these out. Three of the four $5 packs are Imperials, and the other pack is from the Rebels cartoon. They need more good guy soldiers from the Original Trilogy. Rebel fleet troopers, and X-Wing pilots!!! The Stormtroopers need someone to fight. I'm not ready to plunk down $55 on the big set to get a Luke Skywalker or other good guys. So, I'll be watching for sales on some of the bigger sets. But so far, these are a WIN.

There is an Endor pack for $9.99 that comes with Luke and a bunch of Ewoks and the $14.99 Death Star set comes with Luke X-Wing and a several X-Wing pilots. But yeah they should have made more hero packs in the $5 to $10 range.

Rebel fleet troopers, and X-Wing pilots!!!
I saw pics from the Comic Con that TRU is going to get an exclusive set 51 figure set with Rebel Fleet troopers. So they are coming in a set other than the Star Destroyer.
