Looks like they've announced it today at SDCC. Who's in for one of these? I imagine they're using a seamless Phicen body.

What I saw in the background looked a lot like Irish McCalla's costume. Probably more likely to be public domain than Robert's version.

From what I'm gathering, it's supposed to be McCalla and they had the likeness cleared with her heirs. I think it's cool they're making a female figure, and one so iconic. She's the jungle girl.

EDIT: There's no doubt in my mind it's going to look phenomenal, but the only hesitation I have at all is about the Phicen body. Seamless bodies look great in pictures, but I'd hate to have it start rotting or tear in a couple years. Maybe it's unfounded, but it's just a concern--I've had no issues w/ my HT Keaton Batman, which is similarly constructed.

Go Hero seems to be good at snagging likenesses (Buster Crabbe and Doc Savage). Here's hoping McCalla, and it would be interesting if they did a comic book likeness variant.

I had a couple of nice conversations with Steve from GH a while back, I'm positive he mentioned having McCalla's likeness. I'd be the kind of nerdling to ask that question.

Looks nice, but very generic. I'd suggest buying a regular Phicen, and just adding a bit of fake leopard skin. Anyone can do that.
