Marvel Select Disney Savage Hulk...BUY IT!

I just got my Hulk figure today, and I have to let everyone know...photos do NOT do this figure justice. I know he looks weird in some of the publicity photos, but in hand, the figure looks amazing. I'm not even going to try to photograph mine because I doubt it'd look any better, but IMHO, this is the DEFINITIVE Hulk figure.

I'm not kidding. In person, it's that good. It's got elements of Kirby, Ditko, and Trimpe all rolled into one, and he is MASSIVE, coming in at around ten inches tall. He's very bulky, brutish, and Frankenstein looking. If anyone reading this is on the fence, get him. You will not be disappointed.

One of the better Hulk figures they have done lately.

This unboxing gives a very good look from multiple angles.

I'm glad you like it. About 4 minutes in you get a really CU of the head. I think the paint job is partly the culprit, but it's really an amalgam of Silver Age Hulks. The box art seems to shows that.

      EDIT: Another good comparison

Form this video, it appears that the figure was originally supposed to be based off of Incredible Hulk #1 and they changed the marketing to be all Silver-Age Hulks. Should have dawned on me earlier considering that's the clothing design and body stance with open hands mocks the cover.

^Yeah, there's a lot more depth to the face when you see it in person...it looks very flat in photos and videos.

I did a quick recoloring in a more gamma green and grey. It looks very good in grey.

It sounds like he is the right scale to stand with megoes.

I like him, but he has the same thing as all other Diamond Select Hulks: those weird narrow legs around the knee joint.
Still haven't found my perfect Hulk...
