There's something off about these figure head sculpts (Batman & Superman so far). They kind of look like old men (a la Alex Ross). As much as I try, I can't get to like them...

$200 each is too much! I collected DC Direct 13" but not these! I will stick to FTC DC 8" and 18" later this year!

I luv the older more mature look on Superman (like the late George Reeves who was 38 the 1st time he played him) but the price is high. I have heard the sideshow bodies suck so we shall see if I pull the trigger on this one

That' jaw line is just a tad too extreme. I do like the mature look, but that jaw line mars an otherwise nice sculpt.

I would have been all over this if I hadn't gotten Hot Toys' Christopher Reeve and DC Direct's Kingdom Come Supes. After those, I think I'm pretty much set for life when it comes to Superman in 1/6 scale.

Headsculpts remind me of Byrne's Superman...

^^ Especially later on Byrne Superman.

Look like he's chewing on a particularly hard piece of candy. Kryptonite candy.
But a nice looking figure with great soft fabrics. Cape looks perfect, it hangs very naturally...

I like it a lot. Would rather it have been based on Swan art, but it still looks good to me. Looking forward to the Batman figure this fall.

I think I will just stick with my sixth-scale Lex Luthor. After all, the greatest criminal mind of our time trumps Superman any day of the week.
