Skeleton Warriors action figures return in a new kickstarter.

The figures looks great and never expected Skeleton Warriors to make a comeback. But to be totally honest I am disappointed it will be another limited online exclusive set of figures.

I posted an overview of the original Playmates line a while back.

I seem to always fall in love with lines that no one else seems to like. Skeleton Warriors was one of those lines that had everything going for it. Based on the Skeleton Warriors animated series developed by Gary Goddard's Landmark Entertainment. Gary Goddard was the director of 1987 live action Masters of the Universe movie

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I think I'll stick to the original ones, even if they don't glow in the dark.

These are going to be awesome - they're also planning never done before figures if the line does well. Here's a pic of series 2 that never got made -

Seems that Kickstarter is proving pretty useful for funding cool action figure lines.

For instance, really hoping these retro-styled Cthulhu figures get made.

^Those are sharp. They definitely look like some lost packaging from the early to mid 80s. LOVE the packaging.

Wow, those are very cool! They did a great job of capturing the retro look in both the figure design and packaging.

Those Cthulhu figures are brilliant. Really nailed the Kenner style that was so heavily copied at the time. Fits in perfectly with lines Dragonriders of Styx and Clash of the Titans.

I hope the Cthulhu figures get made. I'd love a set of those.

Man, those are really cool. Too bad they couldnt make megos like that.
