These sound fun, but I wish DC Collectibles would do a line of 7" DC Movie and TV action figures, something DCC hinted at in its last Facebook Q&A! And since FTC is make Mego 8" Batman 66 TV why not Christopher Reeve, Lynda Carter, etc?

I hope DC multiverse includes New 52 comic books, too!

At 17 bucks at toys r us I passed and bought an electronic tribble for 3.59. The figures are in a generic box and are really not all that great IMO. I'll still get Keaton and superman if I find them for the 9.99 I'm hearing at Walmart.

Here are some quick pics. They are a bit blown out in the faces, but you get the costume detail better this way.

This are nicely articulated. I'm sure this figure can move better than Michael Keaton actually could!

Like I said earlier, I'm really digging this Batman cape. The grapple gun is nicely detailed, but is wafer thin, and rubbery. Still, it looks pretty accurate for this scale.

An upshot of Zod. They left out the red in the costume this time. It is actually there in the movie, but Mattel went overboard for the 12" one. You know the one they were giving away at Ollie's a few years ago?

This one is a bit blurry, but you get to see Zod's bent M-16 rifle.

If you can catch these for $9.97, I'd go for it. They are pretty nice (especially the Batman), and are well articulated. I wouldn't give TRU $15 or more for them, though. Well, maybe the unmasked Keaton. I think he's going to be a bugger to find.

I think Target had them at $10 also.

Apparently the Penguin is out too. Maybe he's packed in the same cases as the Unmasked Batman?

My Target where I work got in a case today! Plenty of Batman, 2 Zod, 1 Unmasked Batman which I did not think resembled Keaton. I got 1 Batman and 1 Zod, I like them! Wish Reeves Superman was in this wave. Can you believe its been 25 years since 1989 Batman movie? Remember the terrible Toy Biz Batman figures? No wonder Batman license went to Kenner in 1990! Will look for Penguin! Hope Superman and Catwoman are in next wave! Want Lynda Carter Wonder Woman- 40th anniversary in 2015!

Yep, later this month (June 23), it will be the 25th anniversary of Burton's Batman.

In hindsight, the Toy Biz figures WERE terrible, but the year before, I had decided to start collecting toys in earnest. So ANY comic-related product on the shelf was a blessing to me. I was so happy to see the much nicer Kenner figures the next year, but it was almost all Batman and two Jokers for two years.

Kenner Dark Knight Collection Bruce Wayne looked like Michael Keaton and had REMOVEABLE COWL! Joker looked like Jack Nicholson, too! Wish there had been a Kim Basinger Vicki Vale figure but that was back when NO female figures sold!

*I recently found out Kenner called it the Dark Knight Collection because Toy Biz used Batman name for its line!

Found The Penguin this afternoon at Target. He looks more threatening in action figure form than he does in the movie. In the movie he just looks weird and gross. There were a couple to compare. The paint apps on the mouth vary slightly. The mouth and teeth are more prominent on some figures. I guess preference depends on how much you want your Penguin to look like he's sneering. I chose the one with a less prominent mouth.

D'Oh! Forgot to ask if anyone has tried the Keaton Batman with any of the vehicles from the old Kenner Batman movie lines. I know the scale is different but the Kenner stuff was out of scale anyway.

The Kenner Dark Knight Collection figures were very nice. Great sculpts, great liknesses. I never had the 2nd Joker that had the thicker, Nicholson-like body, just the first one that reused the Super Powers mold.

I'll have to try out my Multiverse Batman in some of the DK Collection vehicles. Good idea!

Having dealt with the two Mego Zods who certainly look more like Non than Zod, I'm happy to move forward if only a little bit in that dept. especially since I've never understood the apparent common consensus on these boards that the Zod Megos were more Zod-like than Non-like.... ahhhh, progress... sometimes it takes three decades (and is marginal in scale).... but it's nice when it happens.
