I bought a couple at Kmart for $15.00 each on closeout. Still, I figured this was a pretty good deal, especially for 'Shop Your Way' members because they e-mailed customers a $5 off coupon today w/ free shipping.

Pretty darn cool and hard to pass up for under $20...if you're a Vader/Star Wars fan.

            THANK YOU for this.

Usually when there's a post about something awesome on clearance, I run down to my local store all excited only to find out they're all gone or were never there (MOTU anybody? )

But THIS TIME, they were there and at the said price!! And I had a two dollar credit so I got one for $15!! I would never be able to afford the regular price, or the ebay price.

            THANK YOU.
            I gots Toyyyyzzzzz

There's an entire bin of MOTU figures available at an upcoming local auction... I pass up that stuff all the time.

              But, I digress --

Over the holidays, there was a Facebook challenge to eschew the traditional "Elf on a Shelf" silliness and -- instead -- implement the practice of documenting "Darth on the Hearth." With my $15 Darth Vader in hand, I rose to the challenge. Sadly, I never saw anyone else post a photo for this. Well... here is one of my contributions --

Chippy resisted Lord Vader's torture, knowing that many Bothan spies gave their lives to bring back that Egg Nog recipe --

In the US it was a Costco exclusive last fall. So it's long gone from stores here. You best bet is probably ebay and amazon sellers.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

                    What a price!
I paid $65, which was the lowest price at this side of the pond...
