Toys R Us has done some stupid things but this takes the cake.

Reality is....The Economy sucks,many are broke and they don't need Toys to live as they are luxuries

Toys R Us are in financial trouble....they just announced they are closing 100 stores

They are in HUGE Debt and the Lender's are soon calling in that Debt, while then TRU won't be able to re-finance because Lender's won't lend to them anymore.

It won't happen over-night,but in the next few years (possibly 5-10 years) TRU will face the same fate as Kay-Bee Toys

TRU bought the name from a bank that held as an asset after KB's liquidation in order to kill any possible competition which might result from a resurrection. The company and all it's stores and website were out of business.
