New DC Mutliverse 3 3/4" line is out

Saw the first figures, based on the Batman: Arkham video games at Target, and picked them up for my son. Batman, Azrael and Bane. These look and feel like DCUC type figures shrank down. MUCH nicer than Mattel's previous Inifinite Heroes line, with their giant ham fists. The only crappy part is these are very light on accessories, but then I think most Marvel Universe figures are, so it's par for the course nowadays. $9.99 a piece, which is now unfortunately common.

Also saw some of the new figures in the now 3 3/4" "Evergreen" Batman line. Picked up Flash for the boy too. Some of these were showing up at Dollar stores last year, but these have knee and elbow articulation. The singles are $6.99, which isn't bad, by today's standards. AFI has some pics. I didn't see all of this, just the singles of Flash, Supes and Bats, and that odd Joker-bot thing.

Just saw these today at Target. The Multiverse figures looked nice, but $10 is a little salty. I almost picked up that Superman, but I'm still hung up on the red shorts.

Hey Steve, which Superman are you talking about? The Mattel-designed one for the Batman line? The singles for those were $6.99 at the Target I stopped by, while the Multiverse series was $9.99 (better sculpting and paint apps).

This Multiverse line is where the Keaton Batman, Devito Penguin, Reeve Superman, and Stamp Zod are supposed to appear, just in case anyone else is having trouble keeping up with this stuff like I am.

The Batman line one, yes. I'll probably pick it up anyway just to have on my web site, and I like the sculpt. Just wish it were a classic version.

^Yeah, same here. At least he has red boots. The 5" version that came in the set with Batman Killer Croc did not.

I'm all over the Multiverse movie figures. To find a Reeve and Stamp at retail will be cool.

Those two are definitely my most anticipated figures of the upcoming year.

No Multiverse figures here yet. I will probably pick and choose from that line.

I did get the single Batman and Robin figures. I'd love to find the Disc Attack Robin though.
