The continual move to smaller scales, and in some cases, lesser articulation, has to be about maximizing profits.

Am I supposed to believe Hasbro set a trend with Marvel? And isn't that line coming to a close also even though we were told, like the Matty DC line, they had "thousands" of characters to produce?

All I see is cost-cutting measures. 3 3/4 = less material, lighter shipping, easier peg spacing. At the same price.

AND more need for replacing figures because a lot of smaller figures are more delicate.
