Yep. That sums it up for me.
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.

Amen Chris. I keep ALL of Castaway's figures on display in my office so I can see them daily. That's how much love and devotion I have to their product. They made quality figures while recruiting talent from this very forum to do everything from paint apps to package artwork. To me, Castaway was always invested on a very personal level with the hobby. And the results speak for themselves. Here's a profile of their CA work. I included the special edition boxed figures in the background to illustrate just how dedicated Castaway was to making the CA license proud. They did an incredible job.

As a collector and a shortlived co-owner of castaway toys, I say they can blow it out their rears.
          Fresh, not from concentrate.

I have some of the Castaway C/A sets as well, and Early Bird sets, and I feel Ed didn't mean any disrespect for Castaway, or how the line turned out. I think he's thinking 1/6th to try to stay true to the original Captain Action series. Honestly, without the Castaway sets I doubt they would have ventured back into the action figure territory.

Personally I'd like to see Castaway develop a 1/6th female body to go with their 1/6 male body and CAE could switch to that format going forward. The mego sized figure could then be used for the sidekick and Action Boy.

Then they can ditch Round 2.

You guys did a great job with Captain Action and Dr. Evil David!
I wish you could have continued and I know you would have if the molds had not been stolen. Its a shame.

A Mego sized body would be way too small to stand in for Action Boy.

True- Action Boy is 9" tall, actually closer to 10.
But if CAW made more 8" CA figures a 7" Action Boy or perhaps 6" might work.

I hope Round 2 will bring back Action Boy with uniform sets for him but I'm afraid Lady Action will interfere with that.
