That's right, Character Building in the US, finally! Saw the Scooby sets last week. Drac's castle, a jungle chase, large pirate ship, and very nifty build-a-trap type set. Pretty decent, though the jungle chase is the least impressive (a 4x4 & ski boat w panther and shark villains?). The others though just don't compare to, say, Lego's Monster Fighters in quality and design. The scooby sets are far nicer than Kre-O's Invasion sets as far as monster stuff goes.

No sign of the Mystery Machine or bi-plane yet, though I actually found the micro fig blind bags today at TRU. With no clear codes (just the feel test which doesn't work for me lol) I did something I never do - I blindly bought 12 bags!

    Of the 12, I got 4 doubles :/

    Ghost Clown x2
    Yeti x2
    Frankenstein x2
    Red Eye (Skeleton) x2
    Green Eye (Skeleton)
    Sasquatch
    Mancrab
    Wolfman

For those excited about a normal Daphne in this scale...apparently Daphne and Velma are the shortpacked Rares and only available via blind bags so far.

I still don't know how I feel about these. I initially thought the gigs would look nice with the Lego Monster Fighter sets. But the non-blocky mini fig look with the blocky looking sets...the rarity of 2/5 of the Scooby Gang...and the odd mix of classic, new and what appears to be straight up repaint monster characters (Yeti/Sasquatch, Redbeard/Blackbeard, Lagoon Creature/Bayou Beast)...I just don't know.

Also there are new Mystery Mates sets out - same characters again but this time there appears to be articulation as well as second human/secret identity reveal heads for the monsters!

More Scooby Doo Blind Bags info

The Blind bags in the US are $1.99 at TRU. More info about characters available here and across the pond...

      - Daphne: Ultra Rare
      - Shaggy: Common
      - Velma: Ultra Rare

      - Ghost Clown: Ultra Rare
      - Yeti: Ultra Rare
      - Zombie (Skeleton w/pants): Common

      - Lagoon Creature: Ultra Rare
      - Redbeard: Ultra Rare

US - 16 blind bag micro figs available
      - Daphne
      - Velma
      - Redbeard
      - Voodoo Man
      - Ghost Clown
      - Yeti
      - Mancrab
      - Red Eye (Skeleton)
      - Green Eye (Skeleton)
      - Lagoon Creature

No idea of blind bag case breakdown for US, but it's kind of meh that Dracula, Frankenstein, Lagoon Creature and Wolfman appear to be the exact same figs as their Monsters vs. Zombies blind bag counterparts.

No Monsters vs Zombies? Is the US only getting the Scooby sets and figures?
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Saw these at Toys 'R' Us a few days ago. And I think they were $2.99 like Zica said.

I've only seen the Scooby stuff (which shares a number of mini figs) in the states, no MvsZ sightings.

Just bought a couple of the blind bags myself...they are very awesome! Unfortunately, my kids think so as well and they stole 'em from me....

There is a 15% off coupon on the TRU website, I bought a whole box of them today, have the complete set now, 6 unopened to return and 13 to trade off to who needs them.
