I like it, but don't want to look at it because I can't afford it.

I really think something is missing from the sculpt and I would have preferred Zod from the dream sequence when he had the the black Superman like costume, if HT makes that figure at some point I'll be all over it like white on riceComment

Not Understanding the non-love here on the figure.... , oh wait ... It's the Museum .
imo, If people are into these Type of figures..., this to me , is most Definately 1 of the Better 1's Made Jack.... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.

It is pretty bold to have an actual expression sculpted on a figure. Companies usually tend to go pretty middle of the road with their sculpts and a lot of fans whine about wanting some expressions, then when someone does it (like on Kaustic Plastik's KP02B sculpt), they don't go for it. The example I gave does look pretty goofy compared to a lot of sculpts and only works in certain posed positions, IMO, but they took a gamble and tried to give people what they said they wanted. I admire that.Last edited by torgospizza; Aug 29, '13, 9:27 PM.Comment

While you may not like the expression, I don't understand how anyone can fail to see the actor's likeness in that sculpt. And I only saw the movie once, and I know I wouldn't feel comfortable stating that he never wore this expression in the film.
Sometimes I feel people knock Hot Toys products because they're pricey, and they certainly open themselves up to more scrutiny because of the price point. To each his own. Myself, I doubt I'll get this one (or Jor-El), probably just Supes.Comment

^^^ See Now, I'd buy this Guy..., and Have him Fight my Chris Reeve.... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.

Honestly I think much of the time, they do a spooky good job of likeness. i don't own any but i can see the appeal and why they command such a price.
In this instance, I just think they went to far with the sardonic grin. It's still a nice looking toyPlaces to find PlaidStallions online: https://linktr.ee/Plaidstallions

I loved this when I saw it last night. Went to the Hot Toys site and looked at some of the other pictures. Just an amazing piece of work. I dont even need to know the price as it is definitely out of my range. The only figure I would spend over $100.00 on is if there was a good Nigel Terry as King Arthur figure in armor from the Excalibur movie.Comment
