Hot Toys Batman '66 ... Any updates?

I don't think WB cares how the stuff sells, they've been paid for the license by each manufacturer already so they win even if the merchandise end up sitting on the shelves because there is too much out there.

I hope the figures.com line goes fairly deep, but I couldn't imagine Hot Toys going deeper than Batman and Robin and the four main villains and possibly Batgirl, if that deep.

Heck, HT may only do Batman. Just from reading in this thread, I get the notion that there will be a lot of Batman buyers who will pass on Robin. For me, I'd want both or neither, but that's just me.

If I were HT, I might do Batman and Robin as a package deal. Then release variations separately down the line if there is a demand.

HT hasn't been known to glut the market. The figures generally sell out. They've actually held off on production to allow preorders to rise on certain characters (Hawkeye, Loki) and even backed away from Green Lantern when the film flopped.

My big question is when will the DVD be available? Is Warners and Fox holding off until next year's 75th anniversary of the character or are the rights still being battled over?

Its the Hot Toys Batman ..., and the Batmobile. 1st and 2nd ... I want them both very, very bad. Same thing with the Mattel 6inchers .... Everything Else ...., in those scales, and all the Other Stuff ... Just doesn't matter much.

It's the Allure of the Batmobile ...., and The figure riding in the Batmobile... what interestest me.

For me, it'll be the Hot Toys Batmobile, Batman, Robin, and likely a few villains (Joker, Julie Newmar Catwoman, Riddler, Penguin).
I may pick up the Mattel 6-inchers if I see them at TRU, but that'll be it. Not interested in Retro style anymore.
