I hope you are right drquest. I wish they'd come out with the Superman & Batman sets already.

As long as they keep putting the new ones out- I will still be buying them- I love this line.

We all love it...that's why it's so disheartening. Since the initial release in March of last year, they've only put out two new costume sets in 16 months.

If you have Round 2's ear, I think you should tell them they need to be more responsive on their Facebook page, plus keep it more about THEIR product and less about others. More importantly they need to be more reliable on release dates. If they're not sure, don't make one up and lead people on. Companies take pre-orders all the time without firm release dates. Clean up their communications and they will find less resistance and fall out from the consumer end.

This is direct from Ed at CAE.

Iron Man and Wolverine are hitting retail late September/Early October. The new boxed Captain Action will also be out at that time. This one is Codename: ACTION and the costume will have some differences. The black areas will be a textured "pleather" material. All three of these will all retail for $19.99 each.

All three of these came out in the Diamond Previews Catalog that came out yesterday.

Also of note, a limited NYCC Dr. Evil box has been shown, and has Red Skull, Braniac, Loki and the Joker costumes pictured on the box.

A new comic series is on sale Sept 4th, the new paperback pulp novel should be on sale in October of this year.

Also they are stepping into the female category and have announced an 18" Tonner Doll Lady Action. It's not in scale with Captain Action obviously, but is something they can get out pretty quickly. Expect it to be available Q1 to early Q2. An actual 1/6th Lady Action to match up with Captain Action is being worked on as well, with interchangeable costumes, but will be out later.

Many thanks for the communication. It's immensely appreciated. I've read the extra costume pieces for Hawkeye will be in the basic costume sets priced at $19.99. With this change, will they still be doing deluxe sets with the alter ego masks and extra accessories?

No release info for the Superman & Batman sets? I guess they feel Lady Action is more important.
Thanks for the info from Ed!

On Facebook they said Tonner 18" Lady Action doll is in ADDITION to Round 2's 12" Lady Action figure and LA costumes in 2014!

It's not to replace the 1/6th scale Lady Action but the Tonner version will be out sooner than than the 1/6th.

It would be good if Wal-Mart does carry Captain Action!

If you have Facebook you can vote to show Wal-Mart that they should carry Captain Action.

Is TRU still a player or are they out? I also noticed Entertainment Earth is not taking any pre-orders for this supposed Fall release. Sounds like the Deluxe sets with the Tony Stark masks are out. Also note this program is open to ANYONE. So Round 2 is playing a marketing mind game when they say they were "selected". No one selected them. They chose to throw their hat in. Here's the program from Walmart. Anyone can apply...
