Where'd you get her, if you don't mind me asking.Got Catwoman yesterday. Not a perfect likeness, but still easily the best Catwoman figure ever. Really like her.

Finally got Catwoman today. Had her on pre-order since July. The likeness is softer than the proto pics. Probably because the skin tone is painted on instead of molded in color. It's very glossy.Leave a comment:

Definitely agree to disagree here.Well, while the word "cancelled' was never used, it's never a good idea to say "we have no further plans" about ANYTHING that you plan on continuing. A simple "we have lots of great ideas, come back later" would have sufficed. Not to overly bash Mattel, but they caused the problem here, and then AFI reported it as they said it.
Their statement wasn't a problem with me, because I understood what "we have no further plans" could mean and exactly what it *doesn't* definitively mean.Leave a comment:

Mattel apparently is not done with the '66 line:
http://www.actionfigureinsider.com/m...6-batman-line/Somebody should let that Mattel rep know the answer is "Internet whisper-down-the-lane" + "Nerd Rage" = "False conclusions""...Classic TV 66 Batman stuff was selling very well for them and they were confused why so many collectors thought the line was ending after Catwoman ships in a few weeks..."
I really WAS scratching my head at the reaction of toy collectors in light of the one Mattel rep's offhanded comment about "no current plans" or whatever was said. He never said the line was being cancelled, but a thousand nerd voices arose in a wail of despair anyways.
Really? I'm curious to see this stuff you speak of. As you see from what I wrote, I too was under the impression that consumers jumped the gun.Last edited by huedell; Oct 11, '13, 4:16 AM.Leave a comment:

My friend sent me pics of surf up joker from nycc. It's an easy custom, but it does mean more figures to come! The lady at the booth said More figures next fall.....at least according to my friend.Leave a comment:

It wasn't the fan boys that jumped the gun...It was Mattel's Scott Toyguru Neitlich who said the line was done after the initial set of figures...he said it in QnA and on a videoLeave a comment:

Sales speak louder than anything. Glad to hear that too. It would be cool to see a Batgirl, Mr. Freeze, King Tut, and Mad Hatter.Leave a comment:
