Has there been an Annie Oakley doll in a Barbie/fashion style? I have a vague memory of one, but I'm wondering if it was just a Barbie-as-Cowgirl offering. Has there ever been a doll/figure based on Annie Get Your Gun?

To the best of my knowledge there hasn't been a Barbie style Annie Oakley fashion Doll. The only thing I know of is some porcelain type dolls. You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return... -
Thanks. I know Excel made a larger figure with cloth clothes for Legends of the West in the 1970s (and that got the smaller treatment from Empire), but I wasn't sure if there had ever been a fashion-type doll.
For that matter, are there that many Barbies as historical figures (rather than just evoking a period of history)?Hugh H. Davis
