Exactly. Basing this on the Adam West Batman makes this the best male hero they've done so far.
I got Catwoman yesterday at the Harrisburg Toys R Us. I think she's awesome. I took some pics in the store that I can post if anyone wants to see them. I thought it was neat that their gloves are kind of reminiscent of oven mitts. I will probably go back and get Batman if they still have him. Now what I'm hoping for is a Burt Ward Robin, because he'd look pretty good on the skinny body. And a Yvonne Craig Batgirl, possibly with her Batcycle would be awesome.Hey! Where's the waiter with the water for my daughter?

Using a 20% off coupon (MOREBARBIE), I ordered 3 of the Batman Barbies from Yoyo.com for $83.88 w/ free 2-day shipping. ($27.96 each)
Unfortunately, they don't have Catwoman, so I'll have to pick her up somewhere else.Comment

Your right...I am really hopping to see an Yvonne Craig Batgirl and a Batgirl cycle would be AWESOME! I haven't seen much in the way of Yvonne Craig Batgirls coming out with all the 1966 Batman stuff...I really hope they give her equal treatment.Exactly. Basing this on the Adam West Batman makes this the best male hero they've done so far.

Yup! Same happened to me and cancelled my order with them and placed one to Entertainment Earth. It should be arriving anytime now... And I agree, until the Figures Toy Company TV Batmen come this is the best TV Batman yet. Maybe the only one we'll ever see with removable cowl...Comment

Barbie already did a Batgirl and a Batgirl with a Batcycle... not Yvonne Craig but very close. So if you don't see one that may be the reason why.Comment

The cowl comes off easily and also went onto Captain Action (2012 version) very easily. Next, to figure out if there's a better 12" body in my collection for the costume. Anyone else tried another body for the costume? And I agree with a previous poster that this Ken body would be great for a Barbie-Burt Ward/Robin.

The Batgirl that came with the Batcycle was kind of meh. They gave her a cloth hood/ears, and the front of her cowl was plastic. The ears wouldn't stay up at all. I actually removed the little plastic tabs and pulled the cowl back. She looks way better as a secret-identity type doll. Her suit was kind of black with bluish sparkles, and I'd like her in the purple costume that would look more like the TV show version. Plus, I really like these retro-style Barbies, and I'd want a Batgirl that matched the Catwoman and Batman. I went out and got Bruce today. He still displays really nicely next to Catwoman.
Here's the Batgirl I'm talking about, with her cowl down.

Noticed over the weekend that these started showing up at Target now...$34.95, much better price than TRU!Comment

The Cat Woman is just stunning- perfect! Batman looks more like Barbie in drag than Ken!
Yes, the cowl fits easily on GI Joe or Capt Action- but that's about all that does fit! I have tried both joe and C.A bodies with no luck getting that skinny \ tight suit to fit over the torso of anything but a stick figure!
I was thinking MAYBE a slightly more muscular Ken would work- but I don't know if there is such a thing.Comment
