Hot Toys Man of Steel figure

What better way to celebrate the release of the latest Superman film than to show the latest Hot Toys version? Sweet!

Hot Toys does all this Crap wrong ...
Think about How many Impulse Buyer's would also flock to this..., if U could buy him right now ..., after seeing the Movie this Weekend. .... Instead of waiting 6 months to a year for him... Hulk still isn't Out Yet after nearly 15 Months on the Big Screen.

It's somewhat Frustrating as a Collector.

Having never owned a Hot Toy, I had no idea. Generally how long after the movie does the stuff come out?

I've always assumed that when people post the pictures, it's game on.

I think you're right, but then again, there have been some figures cancelled when the movies failed to catch on...like Green Lantern. So the wait and see attitude is safer. But Superman is a pretty safe bet, either way.

                Thats Why U make the 1 ....
Like With Superman ..., Just make Superman, Zod and Whoever can come afterwords ...
Like with Avengers...., have Like Ironman, and Cap ready ....
Dark Knight Rises ..., Batman shoulda been ready , Why wait 5 Months for him?...
Like with Ironman 3..., Have Ironman Ready ...

Have something ready for the Launch, and Build additional Characters Later.

There was Far Enough Fans of Green Lantern the Movie, for Hot Toys to make a Hal GL ..., AND Sales woulda Been there imo.

I don't see how that would have been a loss for that Property.

I understand the safe additude ..., but in retrospect, I also thing it looses Money with the Heavy Hitters to some degree.

Yeah, I can get them testing the water with certain properties and certainly not going whole hog on characters (DC Direct Frank Miller Spirit dolls are likely buried in the same landfill next to Atari ET cartridges) but Batman, Superman and Iron Man seem like real under hand pitches at this point.

He looks good but I'm gonna save my money for the Sideshow premium format one.

When I was in the military I was stationed in Alamagordo, NM where all those Atari ET cartridges are supposedly buried. I could have had a fun little diggin party.

I think the Hot Toys likeness is stronger than the Sideshow Premium, but maybe that's just me.

I agree 100% Hot Toys nailed it with the likeness I just like the Sideshow a little more.
