New Diamond Star Trek Kirk and Spock

Ok so are we back to McFarlane pre-posed figure styles? I am confused. Of course I bought them (Kirk and Spock) they look
like they're running to go the bathroom. Well...OK nice to have new trek toys, even tho I only got sub-lego from the new movie,
and then they go and cancel upcoming EMCE entries? I think they owe us the next wave which should obviously be WORF and
    a TNG ROMULAN.

I saw these today at Toys R Us. They look nice and the packaging is nice but I was hesitant to buy them. If I knew this was a genuine attempt to get 6 inch classic Trek back into retail I would support them whole heartedly but I think it is just an attempt for DST to make a quick buck because of the new film. I would love to see this line go forward with the prototypes that were shown a few years ago finally being produced. I don't think it will ever happen.

          Aha!
I have to admit, I like these. Yes, not too much articulation, but I'm fine with that, I prefer a decent sculpt and not fifty points of articulation anyway.

I saw those yesterday at TRU. I like them as well. The sculpts look good up close.

I was looking at them yesterday, kind of gave me an Aurora vibe, was actually tempted.
