KREO Into Darkness-???

Does anyone plan on collecting Star Trek Into Darkness Kre-o's? Is is just me or did Paramount phaser themselves in the foot with no regular action figures from this highly anticipated film? I saw these at TRU today and I was just thinking.....where are the real ST toys?

I went to TRU w/ my brother yesterday and left without spending a dime, thinking the same thing. Just because it was a dog for Playmates doesn't mean no one likes it. A lot of people had issues with the quality of Playmates' sculpts, f.ex. I would have loved to see someone like NECA or Art Asylum make some figures and would gladly pay quite a bit more for them than I did for the stuff Playmates released.

You can still buy the figures from the first movie. Why would they risk it?

But they could be taking the "Wreck it Ralph" wait-and-see approach.

I have been thinking about getting the Enterprise set, but I like mini figs, and this just seems like something fun to build. I say that having never bought the Kreo Hasbro stuff before, so who knows I may hate the feel of them after I get one. I am a little bummed that we will not be getting some new figures, either from Playmates, Hasbro, Art Asylum, whoever.

There are blind bagged Kreo figures for Star Trek.

Wish Lego would take a page out of Hasbro's book and do that for the DC and Marvel characters.

I picked up one of the bagged figures the other day at TRU. I got the Gorn figure, It was taller in size compared to the Lego figures we have and it does have more articulation in its joints. For $3.50 I thought it was a good deal. I might get me some more of these again later, It seems like these figures just flew off the racks in no time though at my other TRU store though, so I don't know when they're going get anymore.
