I really dig it. But, yeah, that is a bit pricey for a piece of card board. I still really do like it though.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Well yeah, it's pricey, but then so are those figures. I think you'd have to be a really dedicated fan to buy this stuff.

i think they should include a smaller scale figure with the playset.

Some accessories would of been cool too, like some miniature size glasses of blue milk and a table or two to it. Gotta have some chairs so you can play out that scene of Han shooting first at Greedo

I got it and love it. It's huge, I mean really huge. Worth the price to me.
Looking forward to the Proto-type Rocket Fett and Bossk.

Definitely doesn't perk the interest of a cheap *** like myself! Although it is cool

I like it, but like Werewolf pointed out, it's cardboard. If it was made of plastic, I'd go for it.

If it was half that price I'd totally get one. But for $89 I can get another figure for that. So, if it's between a piece of cardboard or a rocket firing Boba Fett, I know which one I'm gonna try for.

They should have included some accessories for that price.

It would look cool in back of the 1:6 Jabba (Sideshow) but like you guys I'm not spending $90. I have 66 Batman to think of.
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.

I'm disappointed that it's cardboard. It seems like a bad idea idea, but I guess they thought they'd be crossing some kind of bad line by making a repro piece out of a totally different material than it was originally. Other than that, it makes no sense to me why they'd go through witth that cardboard idea when they could have made a sturdier version for (I'm assuming) just about the same profit margin.

Another thing.... Why can't the fans petition GG to make loose versions of the figures availiable?

These things are too dang limited and too dang "collectible" (I guess is the right word) for my tastes.

I think the target audience for the GG jumbos is squarely in the "collectible" market. They are certainly a novelty and fun to look at, but the price point and real estate is in the stratosphere. I also find it highly interesting that hasbro is now selling 12" figures with 5 point articulation for 10 bucks.

I'd rather make one than spend that much money on cardboard. I can print out a backdrop and mount it on board myself for a couple of dollars.
