New Iron Man- he's fricken HUGE!

I found this at Target yesterday- made me put back the 3 smaller BAF figures I'd grabbed to build Iron Monger- I'll just get them later. I just couldn't leave the store without this big guy:

Oh- the little guy is Captain Mercury- found at a toy show- he's 8 inch and was some sort of promo item from an internet company.

Very cool, I've only seen the Iron Man 3 transforming figures so far.

I've seen the Iron Man 3 - 3 & 3/4 inch figures and they have no articulation at the elbows or knees. Big disappointment for me what with there being all the on-screen armor variants appearing in this film.

I could swear someone else posted a pic of that Captain Mercury figure before on these boards. It looks very familiar.

I've seen the cheap $5.88 figures with the old 5 points (head turns, shoulders, hips), and I've seen the new "Assemblers" figures for the more standard $9.98 that have swappable arms, legs, etc. Not sure how articulated they are, but the detail looks consistent to previous 3.75" Marvel figures.

Looks like all the toy companies are offering a cheap alternative nowadays, which is great for parents of younger kids. Older kids don't buy it...literally!

Saw this today too, I did a double take when I saw it. Walmart also has some really cool 12 inch TMNT figures for like $17 bucks, very tempting!

Hmm, I do believe I recall a certain someone here selling one of these at a toy show. I dubbed him Captain Awesome (the toy, not the seller )
