    Max Steel returns.

It would be cool if we got a new 1/6 Big Jim out of this, since Max is supposed to be Jim's son or nephew (can't remember which) Josh McGrath.

From what I've read, the Josh McGrath identity was retconned out as the series went on. His name Maxwell McGrath in the new series which is a new continuity. Don't know if that means he is related to Big Jim again.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Mattel should really think hard about bringing back Big Jim's P.A.C.K., although I'm not sure how Warpath would go over in today's world. Treat them like The Expendables for kids. Reintroduce them as adventurers handpicked for one last, big mission or something.

Any word on what scale the new Max will be? Just wishful thinking, but I kinda hope they use the retro bodies and make him 8".

Check out images from the Mattel showroom at the New York Toy Fair showing off their new Max Steel Action Figure assortment.

They're not real big, and they've got kind of a Ben 10-ish aesthetic with little articulation. I'll be passing on them, despite being excited about them at one point.

Yuck. I loved the original line (and am amazed Mattel hasn't re-used the body tooling for it's DC & MOTU licenses).

The lack of articulation & clothing/accessories kills it for me.

I like your thinking here. Very good idea. I think the Pack would sell very well in today's market.
