If the 4 Horsemen are on this, I have hope. If Mattel's in-house folks do it...I'll have to wait and see.

I'm a newby when it comes to these toys. I've been looking at some of the DC Universe figures from Mattel lately. They seem pretty good. Did something change recently? Why wouldn't DC Direct get this line? I'm not sure who DC Direct are either, I just saw they had put out some figures also. I'm just assuming that DC started it's own toy company? I really don't know, I'm still learning all the Superfriends/Batman toy stuff. I didn't realize so much had been done lately. It kind of boggles the mind when tyring to figure out which line to start collecting.

DC Direct became DC Collectibles, and their action figure output has really dwindled to what it was a few years ago.

The DC Universe Classics are some of the nicest action figures ever released at retail, and if the 66 figures have the same level of detail and quality, we're in for a treat.

There have been some new figures shown from Mattel's new DC Universe line, DC Unlimited, that seem to be sorely lacking when compared to the DCUC figures. That is the troubling part.

Been a few threads on this already. This actually isn't "new" news at all. I'm not entirely sure why Mattel sent out new press releases or perhaps someone just now found these and it's being spread as "news" by sites that didn't cover it the first time around, when this was announced way back when. It seems to be making the rounds again.

Anywho, the early Mattel sculpt looked pretty good... But I do worry when Mattel is involved. I suspect we'll end up paying more than we should for less than we ought.

Maybe they should change the name to DC Limited,

Hopefully the 66 figs are the ****!!!!

I wouldn't worry too much about Mattel...their DC Universe Classics and Masters of the Universe Classics are some of the nicest figures on the market. If the Four Horsemen are involved I'm sure the end product will be fantastic.
