Castor Tron legacy unproduced figure showing up at Retail!??!

I don't belive it unless I have proof,but people on the AFI fourms have been spotting him. Anyone seen him yet?

Well, as a Kentuckian, I can tell you I haven't personally seen him. I would have remembered too, since the actor is in both the Underworld and Twilight franchises my wife likes.

Never seen one, but did score a nice set of vehicles from our local Big Lots for half of retail.

I remember when all the talk started about this...I'd love to get one just cause of it's rarity but I'm sure it'lll cost me if I ever get it..Hopefully it'll go down form the $500 asking prices

There was a Target exclusive 2 pack. Clu and castor. $20 on ebay

Yeah, I own that set,I wonder if they swa that instead of the 4" figure.

When these figures 1st came out there were a few Castor's on ebay selling for around $20-$30. Maybe 5 total made an ebay appearance but it's been documented as such. Then the actor had a problem with his likeness, the figures were pulled/canceled, the story got out and a rarity was born. I've heard from a few people that a few Targets around here actually had them for a time (not the minis either)

Here's the thing with the Tron Legacy toys in general though; they're filled with batteries. If you do come across a Castor, he's most likely going to be carded and eventually those batteries inside him are going to expire and then there's a possibility they could leak. that's an awful big risk to take on the figure. The flip side is that if you should find one loose, those Tron toys were terribly constructed and had a tendency to break if you looked at them funny.

That is possible. Thankfully I'm not going to spend $600-$1000 on one!
