Captain Action Spider-Man costume has been changed!

Went to TRU after work tonight to pick up the new sets, and they had restocked the Captain America and Spider-Man sets.

Spider-Man's costume has been changed! The red material is much darker and less orange-red than the first release. The web lines are now thinner and more closely match the mask, boots and gloves, and the spider emblem is completely different. The legs are spread much wider on the spider now. Also, the black stitching has been changed to red.

The suit color looks better, but it doesn't match the mask, boots and gloves anymore.

It didn't look darker in person, but after looking again, it appears a different type of material was used on both the red and blue this time. I'm not opening this suit, but maybe the new fabric stretches a bit more?

Just from here, the new suit looks more Mego-like in color.

It's great to see the costume sets selling so well that shelves get restocked with them. You normally don't see TRU stores replenish older items like this, so that really speaks to it's success.

I like the new colors much better. Would probably look good next to the 12" Mego Spidey.
