Attn Beatles Fan: Yellow Submarine 1/6 dolls

Saw this on FB from Cotswold Collectibles. ETA: Late Dec 2012
    BEATLES YELLOW SUBMARINE ORDER

    $134.99 a pop.

These would be cool to shrink the heads to 1/9 scale.

Hmm. The head sculpts leave me a bit cold. John's is the only one that looks right. Ringo's is okay, but George and Paul look pretty bad. Too steep for me anyway, but a cool idea nonetheless.

I wonder if the 1999 McFarlane figures heads are Mego size? Probably too small.

It would be cool if they just did a straight interpretation from an album like say Sgt Pepper instead of these stylized designs from the cartoon. Can you imagine Hot Toys figures in Sgt Pepper outfits? Too cool.

I can't see paying that much for figures with simple cartoon sculpts like that.

I've contemplated the same thing but I long since sold my YS collection years ago. Might have to get them again unless someone offers the heads on here.

                  I might just for John.

Agreed. I've seen customs of these but the sculpts were pretty sad.

I'd be happy with an Abbey Road set and the Paperback Writer outifts complete with instruments.

those are way to expensive. cool idea though. i'm with everyone else, i would rather see real versions of them, not more Yellow Submarine stuff. it seems like that is all they put out anymore.
