Can PM Captain Action be repaired?

I recently opened my Playing Mantis Captain Action figure. Upon inspecting the figure I noticed that the left forearm is connected the wrong way to the upper arm making the forearm upside down. I was going to see if I could remove the elbow pin and fix it but the pin is rather small and it appears very tight. Any recommendations on how to fix it?
