Saw Dr. Evil at TRU yesterday. Looks great. No costumes at all though, just Dr. E and the Captain.

I just received news from Amok that this next line is shipping on 11/06. That's great news. So this means the non-deluxe sets should be headed to TRU stores as well.Leave a comment:

^ You are correct about Hawkeye, but wave three was originally supposed to be Iron Man and Red Skull.
Red Skull was supposed to be the last set you needed to complete Hawkeye. It looks like they replaced him with Wolverine.
I'm worried cause they didn't even show a prototype of him. He was my most wanted villain.
I really wanted a Red Skull. :sigh:Leave a comment:

Joe Ahearn from the Captain Action Enterprises said Iron Man would carry images from Gene Colan and the costume would be based on that artist's rendition. He said there would also be some artwork from Bob Layton. But the artwork here is from John Romita Jr. It will be interesting to see if the Deluxe version carries the Gene Colan variant. I am so pumped for these!Leave a comment:

Wow, this is great news! I love seeing the Carmine Infinantino/Murphy Anderson classic Batman standing pose on Batman's package. The Superman Neal Adams pose looks like a redraw, but hopefully they'll fix that. I hope they don't use the 82 Garcia Lopez artwork. As much as I love that, give it a rest. Use actual Silver/Bronze Age artwork, like they are doing on the Marvel packages.
Of course these mock-ups use the DCD 13" figures, but I'm hoping the actual product looks great. Love the presentation!
