    Papo Mutants

I don't know if any of you guys are into Schliech, Papo, or Safari figures, but yesterday I ran across some Papo mutants in ToysRUs. Check out some pics here. I picked up the gorilla, croc, tiger, and lion guys, but didn't see the rhino, ram, or dragon figures. Also, poeghostal has a review of the gorilla mutant here. Hard to believe they can get a 3¾" figure this detailed. They're kind of pricey, but look phenomenal.

I am not impressed. For the asking price, they could make these articulated. Otherwise, all they are is glorified pvc figurines.

The Mutant series is propably the most detailed fantasy figures Papo has done. Have you seen the BBI Legends figures? If you like the Papo figures you will probably like the BBI ones even better. Very Dungeons and Dragons inspired. The figures have one to two points of articulation but the Dragons are super articulated. Seriously, the Dragons are amazing.

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Those BBI figures are awesome, Werewolf--thanks for the heads-up on them.

My son was big into the Papo knights and fantasy figures a few years back. He has the Papo werewolf for instance.

It didn't bother him that they weren't articulated. They are a bit pricey, but they are nicely made figures.
