What happened to Captain Action series two costumes?

Gotcha! And yeah, I 'm really looking forward to the Iron Man set myself. I recall daydreaming about a Captain Action Iron Man costume set back when I was 7 years old, wondering how they'd do it (snap-on plastic torso, helmet, boots and gloves with cloth costume?). At the time, I had the Superman, Batman, Phantom and Tonto sets, and longed for Marvel heroes (never got Captain America, my favorite hero).

Same here! I was very excited when Mego brought him out with the plastic gloves, boots, and suit back in '74. But it drove me nuts that they didn't copy the artwork on the box for the head. THAT was the Iron Man I wanted. And it looks like we may finally get him. I'm stoked.

I love CA and was looking forward to the new line but I thought the heads looked too large, if they r tweaking the product I hoe they make a version 2 of Spidey n Cap, and CA with an interchangable head instead of a removable mask would kill the whole thing for me

I've seen these in the store and some of the heads appear to be too big. Peter Parker in particular seems out of proportion.

I only bought the non deluxe versions of Cap and Spidey but I think the heads are absolutely fine.

Yeah. When I initially saw reviews of these back in the Spring, I was not a fan of what I saw. But as soon as I viewed them in person, my opinion really changed. I ended up liking them alot. The Rogers head was the only one that was closing in on bobble status. But Parker looked good. And as heroes, they've been great figures. Really love Spidey and got another outfit where the costume wasn't sewn as tight around the inner thighs, so that worked out too. Between my experience with that and even the BSG 8 inch line, I've come to realize that sometimes you just have to hold these guys in your hands before you can make a final call. With figures, it's always going to be subjective. And as much as my own opinion has shifted wildly from seeing something in pictures to seeing it in person, I understand the folly in making an early judgement. I've fallen prey to that mistake more times than I care to count.
