I was able to pick up Grinnah at Toys R Us yesterday. They also had Legolas and Bilbo but I only had the money for one. I wasn't even interested in these at all until I saw this topic and then seen them in store. They look great for 3 3/4 scale. I would love to see The Bridge Direct pick up some other licenses. I don't mind paying $9-$10 for a figure ($14.99 + for 2 packs) when they are done as well as these.

I'm about 90% sure it isn't happening, and I'm kind of T.O.ed about it. Sideshow slowly stopped making LotR figures after interest started waning, but there was a lot of reasons for that--they didn't make many bad guys, only made about 2/3 of the Fellowship while making less important characters, etc. Kind of frustrating. Now, with the Hobbit movie coming out, interest will be back with a vengeance, but no one's announcing a thing in 1/6, apart from WETA statues. I'd love to see Bilbo Baggins, Tom Bombadil, Beorn, Bolg, Azog, Thorin, Gloin, and some of the other dwarves. Neither Toy Biz nor Sideshow made any 1/6 orcs when they were making LotR playscale figures, and that really boggled my mind.
EDIT: Reading what I posted, I sound like a total crybaby. I can live with that. It annoys me when I want to give people my money, but they'd rather put out stuff no one wants. Faramir over Gimli? Come on.Last edited by torgospizza; Oct 15, '12, 4:30 PM.Comment

Couldn't agree more. No Gimli in that line was a travesty.Comment

I picked up all the 2-packs with the Warg & Goblin King sets today. I do like that you can get the entire current 3.75" collection (13 figs, a giant and a beast) for $149.99 at TRU which isn't a bad deal considering the singles are $10 alone. Still looking for the 6"ers and can't wait to hear any news about the next waves!Comment

A new 6" figure of the character Yazneg has appeared on TRU UK's site. Hopefully that means we'll see more figures soon.Comment
