    Hot Toys Hulk

Here's three of the 16 photos of the Hulk figure Hot Toys posted on Facebook. The figure itself looks great, but it's a major disappointment that it doesn't have elbow joints. I'm not even sure if it has knee joints because the poses are so similar. To me this puts it in the realm of a statue rather than an action figure and makes me question whether I want it or not.

Is it possible he has "hidden" joints, kind of like a Barbie?

It has hidden joints under the rubber skin of the arm. A big concern too since rubber tends to stress and tear if held in positions like that over long periods of time. Cool figure, but the Hulk (as a concept) sort of has a toy-like feel to him with the big muscles, green skin, and cartoony expressions. So no matter how much detail you give him, he essentially just looks like a big toy without any "realism" like other Hot Toys figures enjoy. He looks like he belongs next to a Power Ranger instead of a Hot Toys Iron Man. The paint job here is what really distinguishes him from any other Hulk figure. But that's about it. Not bad. But not great either. I'm sure HT will want $350.00 for him. Too much

I'm concerned about the rubber layer. Don't want to spend $400 on something that's going to start splitting in about five years.

Yeah, I'll definitely own this! BBTS has him for $275, Alter Ego and CSC for $270. I'd go with Sideshow if they were offering their usual Free Domestic Shipping, as that would make their $300 price about equal to the others (plus they always have their figures at least 2-3 weeks before their domestic accounts). But for the difference in price, I'll probably go with CSC or Alter Ego.
I wish they'd included a second "roaring" head sculpt, plus a stand of some sort with name plate to make it uniform with the other Avengers releases - I'm sure he'll stand well enough on his own, though!

way too much.....not something i would throw that kind of money towards now if it was a Ferrigno Hulk or Kirby Frankenstein Hulk I'd consider it..........

I think the look of him is Kirby'ish , made Hollywood. imo.
