They look really good. Look just like the Toybiz LOTR figures.

Bridge Direct Hobbit figure pics
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...Tags: None -
I don't know. The LotR:FotR figures came out 11 years ago, and I think they look better. These look to be on par with Playmates' latest Star Trek figures, sculpt-wise. I'll have to see them in-hand, but am probably kidding myself and will at least pick up Bilbo, Thorin, Azog, and a few others. -
Ugh.
I was really hoping they'd blend in the the Toybiz line with sculpting and texture.
*edit*
I think I was too harsh before. After eyeballing them, I'm not in love with them but they're not horrible either.
Guess I need to see them in person next to mah Toybiz's.
I hope they make all the Dwarves, that would be neat.
And OMG. I want a huge Smaug figure so freaking badly (although that'll have to wait until we actually see him in the movie!). 0-0Last edited by Splitty; Jul 31, '12, 3:34 AM.Comment

I'm really liking what I'm seeing. I never committed to the Toy Biz line due to the half-static/half-wind-swept action-y look of so many figures. I hope these do well, perhaps we could see an expansion with characters from the previous trilogy in 4"?Comment

I'm loving the look of this line. I'm especially excited about the 4" scale line for the army building potential (I hope they do go all out and give us figures from Lord of the Rings!) I really hope we can get a Balrog, Smaug, Fell Beast, Cave Trolls, War Elephants, etc. A Balin's Tomb playset would be great too! These are definately of a better quality range than Playmates Star Trek line. I have the SDCC Exclusive- Invisible Bilbo Baggins. That's the one in the 6" scale range! I think everyone will be equally impressed with the quality of this line.Comment
