New DC 3.75" series from DC Collectibles

So Mattel can't make a decent one, so it's up to DC Direct...er...Collectibles?

Cons only? Do these people try to avoid making money?

I guess it's smart in that it's a simpler chain for distribution. I'm suprised it isn't 100% pre-order from Matty then when they get enough orders then they make it. Amazing how DC just can't get the bar back to the standard set by Kenner 20 years ago with Super powers - amazing scuplts, great playability and reasonable prices

Those are Bad to the Ar$e!!! I always wanted the DCUC figure design in 3.75 inch scale!!! I hope this sparks a new series of figures to compete with the Marvel Universe figures.

If this size is popular you have to believe they will branch the line out, or maybe Mattel is launching a line in that scale. I just want that GL environment Johns showed off on G4' X-play last night. Very cool.

              Hmmmm....

Yeah, it seems like they're testing the water but don't want to muscle in on the already established stuff.

              Yet.

If they don't sell out, Graphitti Designs will have them on sale at their website following the con, like other DC Direct exclusives it has handled.

Mattel's JLU, DC Infinte Heroes & Young Justice 3.75" lines are all cancelled, so it will be nice to have DC figures still coming out in that scale. And quite nice ones too.

They need to make those widely available. 3.75 inch is my favourite scale for action figures.

I watched the video....Kyle and Kilowag are Con only. This isn't anything new. Con Exclusives have been around for a while. I hate Con Exclusives though. I'll never own them. It's like Hasbro's repaint of the Sky Striker to look like Starscream.

The fact that they are con only is a major bummer, that said a 25 dollar price point on a two pack of figures means I will not be collecting this whole line. I will hunt down any GL merch but other then that they can go climb a tree! I love the idea and just don't see eye to eye with the execution.

Looks incredible, but why would I want to commit to something with such infrequent and limited availability? If waves of these were hitting retail I'd be all over them though.

I dig 'em! Not a big fan of Kyle, but Kilowog is pretty cool. I'm more excited about future figures than these two, but it looks like they are going in the right direction.
Expectation is the death of discovery.
