    DKR toys

I picked up a Movie Master Bane and Alfred Saturday. Apparently the embargo date was yesterday, but Meijer jumped the gun. The Movie Masters look great as you would expect. I passed on another Batman for now, since he's the same figure as the DK version, with a slightly different paint job. But I'll have to get him at some point to build the Bat-Signal (great BAF idea).

They also had the small 3 3/4" figures. TONS of Batman varients, using the same mold from DK (who can blame them) and one Bane figure. Bane's paint job is pretty basic, but at least they are only charging $6 for these. The deluxe figures seem to have a few more points of articulation and better paint apps.

I also saw the strange Mattel-created kids Batman line. Kind of looks a bit like "The Batman". Robin looked kind of cool, although he has a read stripe in his hair?!?

Here are some pics from AFI. Spidey movie figures were apparently due out yesterday as well.

I really liked the 3 3/4 inch Dark Knight Lineat Wal-Mart on Friday. Didn't buy them b/c I'm trying to hold to my new 8" and up rule. Also saw the 2 Avengers Movie 3 3/4 packs that were very nice, too. The action figure isle was more full with product than at any time since last year at this time when THor, GL, Cap and the pirates movies were out.

So far so bad... I'm keeping my eyes peeled just for the Movie Masters (Bane & Catwoman) and won't be getting any repeats of the Bat...

I agree with Boywonder0.....only these two,...no use of having repeats.

Saw these the other day. The 3.75" figures come with a little Bat symbol that looks just about perfect for an 8" batarang.

I saw those too. Nothing I'm interested in but I thought they looked the nicest and most fun of the new Batman lines. All the Batman movie stuff looked kinda meh.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I did get the Mattel GA Flash in the mail Saturday and it looked really nice. I like the new boxes. It also comes in a white mattel box like other Matty Products. I bought one of those subscriptions, but will either be trading or selling the figures off this year. Jay's already taken, but supposedly there will be a new one every month. So if anyone is interested in future figures let me know.

Me and the boy got our Jay figures on Friday. Very nicely done figure. I like the box, although Jay looks a bit like George W. Bush with sneakers in the painting.

For the most part, I don't invest in any movie merchandise that can be picked up at Target's or Walmarts. So much of it is too low in quality and too high in price to justify. Plus I know all of it will be worth just pennies on the dollar this Fall.

The movie mastes figures seem to be a bit under 6 inches. For those prices? THe only figure I'm interested in is Alfred really.
