Most 80s toys will always hold a value because there is always a specified collector out there for them.

Care bears, Centurions, Dragonriders, and police academy are just a few 80's series off the top of my head that do well even though they are not so popular with the collectors

I have sold ALOT of 80s toys and sets MOC.

It is usually the 90s toys that are tough sells as D said.
