These Cheap MUs Remind Anyone of Pocket Heroes?

I saw these at Family Dollar yesterday for five bucks each:

I picked up the Spidey. They remind me of Pocket Heroes ALOT.

Wow. Do those really just have the 5 points of articulation?

Hey, with today's toy prices, that's a good deal. 5 points of articulation for $5 I can get behind. Yet Mattel still thinks their Young Justice figures are worth $10 a pop. That line will soon be dead due to this.

They must be utilizing existing sculpts? What kind of plastic are they made of?

          Are they 3 3/4" scale?

These are the low-articulation figures that are usually packed with vehicles.

Yep, 3 3/4, only 5 points articulation, kind of bad paint jobs. Wish they had retro packaging though.

Nope no Hulk yet as far as I know. The only ones they had case fresh were those three, two sets of them, and those three are all that is shown on the back of the package.

There's no low-articulation Hulk already tooled. The only other candidates would be a couple animated-style Spider-Man and Iron Man, and I think a Green Goblin.

Cool, I like those... and yeah, they do remind me of PSH's, too!

(There's such a thing as too much articulation, and that's something that some of the Marvel Universe range suffer from, IMO.)

I liked the old DC Infinite Heroes "Crisis" 3.75 inch range so much partly because they reminded me of CAH's.

Im not a big fan of over articulation either. On Joes i was fine with it because it was what i was use to, but growing up with Secret Wars its how I prefer my smaller figures.
