DC Heroics Mini-Figures

I ran across these at Walmart today in the toy aisle. They are about an inch tall. I'm not sure how many there are total. This may be series one. They are 97 cents. I do know there is a Joker and another Superman plus 2 mystery figures (pictured on the box). I'm sorry about the pic but they are hard to photo.

They were hanging with the action figures in a long, skinny box. You pull them out at the bottom. I bought one of each color ball so it's a crap-shoot what figure you get. I'm surpised I got 5 different ones. I'll get some more next time I go back.

Cool. I'm gonna check a couple of local Wallyworlds tomorrow. I actually like the tiny scale of some of the new stuff because they perch well on my iMac!!!

I have since discovered from ebay that the 2 mystery figures are Martian Manhunter and Justice Lords Superman (odd choice). I've also found out that there is a Marvel line of these as well.

Our Wal-Mart has the Marvel and DC dumps of these side-by-side. I'm really tempted by these, and will probably pick them up as impulse buys in the store. And they'll keep my kids happy too!!!

Considering Hasbro sells those tiny Marvel figures at Big Lots for $3-$4 (and they aren't much bigger than this), $.97 is a steal.

Those are cool... I'll be looking out for them.

I see a lot of similar Marvel & DC figurines in capsule machines these days, but I like the scale and detailing on those in the pic a lot.

I picked up six of each publisher from my local Walmart last night and I have to say I'm actually pretty pleased so far. I got the two different Batmans, a Joker, a Wolvie, a Thor, a Capt. America, a Flash, a Green Lantern, a Spidey and Supes.

I'll definitely be raiding the bins for a few more.

Perhaps those of us who are collecting these can start up a trade system if we start getting duplicates of stuff....

I was going to make a post about these a while back and never got around to doing it. As many of you know my schedule can be a bit hectic some times. Get out of bed around noon, go to lunchfest, surf the net, take a power nap, take a package or two to the post office, surf the net some more, check out the thrift stores, take another power nap....LOL!!!

Anyway.....

I first found mine at Dollar Tree out of all places. These are pretty neat little characters. I like.

If memory serves I believe the real reason I never did post on them was I had the pictures on my camera and that was when my digital camera card died on me losing all the pictures that I took. Ohh well!! Such as life.

My mother-in-law bought my kids 3 of these a piece yesterday. They just got DC ones; two Batmen poses, Superman, GL, Flash and Joker. Not a bad haul.

I was at Wal-Mart today and got them each a Marvel one, just to even things up a bit.

I got 2 more today - Joker and another standing Batman. I'll bring any dups I get to MM to trade/sell.

I goofed in my pervious post. I took a closer look at the box and Manhunter is in the regular set. The JL Supes and one other are the mystery figures.
